Poco has officially launched the Poco C75 5G, positioning it as one of India’s most affordable 5G smartphones — a move that could reshape the budget 5G market.

The Poco C75 5G was revealed in India on 17 December 2024, during the same event as the Poco M7 Pro 5G.

3. Network Controversy: Jio-Only 5G Support
One of the most talked-about points is that the Poco C75 5G reportedly supports only Jio’s 5G network, meaning users may not be able to use 5G on other Indian telecom providers like Airtel.
This decision has attracted criticism as it limits the device’s 5G compatibility and choice for users.
4. Benchmark & Performance
Ahead of its launch, the Poco C75 5G appeared on Geekbench, scoring 832 (single-core) and 1,955 (multi-core).
The benchmark listing confirmed its 4 GB RAM and Android 14-based HyperOS build.
5. Strategic Partnerships
Poco worked closely with Qualcomm to bring this affordable 5G device to market.
There was also a tie-up with Jio, offering C75 5G buyers 10 OTT subscriptions for three months on certain Jio 5G plans.
However, this partnership also contributed to the network limitation (Jio-only 5G support).
